Sherlock Holmes and the Map to Murder at the Central Branch of the Lexington Library

  • Lexington Public Library 140 E. Main Street Lexington, KY, 40507 United States (map)

The wealthy widow Vivenne Harrington has invited some family friends to her estate for the evening. Those invited include Maxwell Sterling (a millionaire playboy, her late husband’s former business partner, and a man she once had a secret love affair with), her daughter Clara Harrington, (attractive, very flirtatious and cunning), Dr. John Watson (Sherlock Holmes former sidekick and Vivenne’s late husband’s personal physician), and the somewhat clumsy Butler (Sherlock Holmes in disguise).

Vivenne has a big announcement to make - she has found a map hidden in a secret compartment of her late husband’s desk. It is apparently the map to Blackbeard’s buried treasure that was lost when his ship went aground off the coast of the Outer Banks in 1717. The treasure is rumored to contain gold and silver coins worth millions.

It is not long before deep dark secrets are revealed, accusations are made and a shocking murder occurs It is up to Sherlock Holmes to solve the case in this fast-paced and fun murder mystery.
